There's something about the cool, crisp Fall air that feels so cleansing and refreshing, and smells just a bit like mulled wine (wishful thinking, perhaps?). While we all know that means Hobby Lobby is probably about to put Christmas on sale and start decorating for Easter, I plan to relish and prolong every part of this magical season! As a kid I'd start playing Christmas carols in July, because I loved them so much (and because it drove my visiting Nana crazy!).. Wonderful as my husband is (and he is amazing!), he doesn't abide anything Christmas before Thanksgiving. And, although I initially balked at the restriction (how dare he limit my hapiness?!), I've grown to appreciate and understand the importance of cherishing every aspect of the season rather than rushing through to get to the "best part". We know all too well how fast time flies and, unbelievable as it seems, I swear we'll blink and it'll be Summer again.
Seasonally, Fall and Winter mean we're all going to be BUSY and short on time. The business is no different. If you haven't yet done so, get on the books for any pre-holiday pampering or maintenance you may need. I'll include a planning guide below.
If you haven't been in recently, we'd love to welcome you back- we've likely made a few changes since we last saw you. We've added some new jewelry, soaps, and fall and winter treats to the retail section of the lobby and will have baskets at the ready for you to build a gift for that special someone! We also have some new treatment options on the menu- see below for info on our new device, Pure Plasma.

Not only is kindness one of our core values, it is also a requirement of remaining a client of Allyn Aesthetics. I never dreamed I'd actually have to spell that out in black and white, but here it is:
I've unfortunately received several reports recently (from both clients and staff) that certain clients are routinely rude to the front desk staff. This unacceptable behavior happens almost daily on the phone and far too often in person.
Most concerning to me is that those who are rude to the front desk are typically very nice to their service provider, meaning they have specifically chosen to be unkind to the people they feel don't warrant their respect. This duplicity is inexcusable and will not be tolerated. I do review the security footage each time an issue is reported and know exactly who the offenders are. And, I can proudly say that, 100% of the time, Cat and Kinzie remain calm, kind, professional, and respectful. The problem does not lie with them. I suspect you know who you are, so this is your warning: exhibit any further rudeness or misbehavior and you will receive a letter from me discharging you from the practice.
Kinzie and Cat take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and, as the first and last faces you see, are pivotal to ensuring you have a pleasant experience. Please remember that they are not only there to help you, to facilitate your bookings, to guide you through pre-visit paperwork, and to answer your questions, but they are also crucial to ensuring the efficiency of the practice. They maintain the lobby and retail space, ensure your waiting area is tidy and comfortable, and keep the fridge and restrooms stocked with all of the extras you've come to expect.
Often, this "anger", if you will, is exhibited by clients that feel inconvenienced by our pre-visit paperwork, and resent being told they have to do it prior to their appointment. I will not apologize for this, as it is not only a condition of receiving services with us (my business, my rules), but in many cases is also a LEGAL requirement. We make it clear at booking that all documents need to be completed no later than 24 hours before your visit- this is so that I can review them and ensure the services you've booked are appropriate and safe for you. Don't want to do the paperwork? No problem- please book somewhere else that cares less about your health and safety.
