When I pictured writing the October newsletter I envisioned myself in my Uggs and a cozy sweater, maybe sipping some cider or hot chocolate, watching the leaves fall outside. Instead I'm sweating like it's Summertime, sheltering inside with the AC to avoid the 90-degree heat. What the heck??!

I am happy to report that with the new season comes a breath of fresh air for all of us, a sense of peace and contentment, and feeling like we are finally the team we were meant to be. We, of course, miss Katie like crazy, but she still visits for events and photo shoots, and is totally rocking it in school. Watch for her in some upcoming Instagram reels- she's a pro!

If you haven't been in recently, we'd love to welcome you back- we've likely made a few changes since we last saw you. We'll soon add some fall and winter treats to the retail section and will have baskets at the ready for you to build a gift for that special someone!

As always, I try to deliver this info in bite-sized pieces so you get the pertinent info without having to read a novel; please feel free to let me know what you like or don't like, or how I can make these newsletters better and more useful for you! And please, for the love of my pride and sanity, tell me if I'm repeating a typo every month(!!)

Meet Cat!

You kept asking and we kept promising . . .  that the right stylist would find us when the time was right. And . . . that time is now!
Meet Cat, your hair's new BFF!

Cat has been a licensed cosmetologist and stylist since 2018, spending the last several years as an on staff at The Salon Professional Academy.

Cat is splitting her time with us both behind the chair and at the front desk, so you've likely already had the pleasure of meeting her. She's as talented as she is lovely and kind and we're excited to announce that she's now open for
online booking!  

More Evening and Weekend Hours!

We're so excited to have Mallory as the part of our skincare team, not only because she's a pro waxer, talented lash and brow artist,
and gives a bomb facial, but because she's lovely, kind, and . . . (drumroll please) SHE WORKS EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS!!

This means more of those highly coveted, hard-to-snag  appointment times so many of you have been asking for! Mallory works Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so hop online and secure your spot now!

Policy Reminder: Discounts

As we get closer to our Thanksgiving weekend of sales, I know we'll be facing this question again, so here's a reminder: we don't double discount.
(If you already know all this, skip ahead to the next section!)

This is not a new rule, but bears repeating because the question still comes up.

Here are some examples to hopefully make things more clear:

1. You cannot purchase a discounted gift card and use it to purchase a discounted service.

2. If you want to take advantage of bundle laser pricing, those bundle prices are only available if bundling three or more, eligible, full price areas.
If you purchased a discounted package of one or more areas,
those areas do not count toward bundling.

3. If you have a membership discount of 10% and we're running a special for 20% off, you get one discount or the other, not both.

I realize our services are a luxury that are not in everyone's budget.
Because I do want to make our services accessible, I try to be generous when I can, and run several specials a year to try to make things more affordable.

As much as I wish this was all free, I simply cannot keep the lights on, pay the wonderful staff that you love so much, or continue to learn and grow and add new state-of-the-art services if we're not turning a profit.

Memberships are a great way to save money and are available to start on the 1st and 15th of every month. Our website has all the details but you'll need to call/text/speak with one of us to sign up.
